What the website offers
- Find-a-Minister - the place where you can search for an ordained interfaith minister to conduct a wedding, blessing, funeral or other ceremony; or for spiritual direction, healing, prayer or other support.
- About Us - the purpose, history and structure of the Interfaith Foundation including details of the trustees and staff, our Code of Ethics, and copies of all our policies and guidelines are stored in the document library.
- News - a complete digest of news and articles relating to the Foundation and Seminary; IMA members on the public register can create further news stories.
- Events - comprehensive listings of events for the public, for ministers, for student training, and for staff or trustees; ministers and students can add more events to these calendars, and edit their own event details.
- Interfaith Seminary - details of our training programme for students interested in becoming an interfaith minister and spiritual counsellor
- Interfaith Ministers - includes a fully-searchable Find-a-Minister area where visitors can identify a minister to celebrate a public service or provide some personal counselling. Also here are details of the Interfaith Ministers Association, and details of local groups and networks supporting ministers, and recommended suppliers of related services.
- The Contact Us page is a quick and easy way of sending an enquiry to the Foundation. Each of the ministers featured in Find-a-Minister can also be contacted personally from the information on their profile page.
- The Event Location link shows a map of all the events in your area.
- The Minister Location link maps other ministers in your geographic area.
When all else fails, you can use the Advanced Search function to find content that matches your search enquiry.
Access permissions for visitors, students and IMA members
All Visitors and members of the public can view all the information about the Foundation, Seminary and Ministers Association.
Seminary Students, Foundation Friends and IMA Members have additional rights to publish and edit Events, read and publish Prayer Requests, and participate in several of the discussion Forums.
IMA Members on the Public Register enjoy further access rights to use the downloadable resources in the Ministers Resource Library, create news stories, and create a professional profile that displays on the public register of Find-a-Minister.
The second and third levels of access described here require ministers and students to be registered to the website. We will issue registeration information to all students and IMA members.
