Description of Services Offered

I'm here to respond to ceremony needs of any kind - the obvious ones such as weddings and vow renewals, funerals and memorials, and namings and blessings of babies and children - and anything else.

Ceremony is my passion and should any life situation present itself which would benefit from an acknowledgement of the occasion in the form of a ceremony or ritual, I'm at your service.

Regarding my spiritual pathway - I chose others, because I aspire to work from a place beyond any differences in religious or spiritual beliefs, from a place of peace within me. I've found beauty in all paths, and I'm not drawn to follow one in particular at the moment - other than the practice of kindness which no one path has the monopoly on!

I'm at ease with people of all faiths and no faith, and consider my beliefs irrelevant when creating and holding a ceremony. What's important to me is that I can listen to what your needs are; that I can hear the beliefs that you hold important to be honoured, and that I can honour and acknowledge them, respectfully and sensitively, whatever they are.

I'm open to responding to your ceremony needs regardless of your or your family and friends' faith or belief - I believe we're all equal, all deserving, and all have our own unique way of connecting with the wonder of life.

I work with you, giving you as much support and guidance as you want or need. I can give you ideas and suggestions, or you may already know exactly what you'd like. We can be as long or short as needed, as elaborate or simple as needed, and as traditional or alternative as needed.

Living here at Findhorn I have the great privilege of being able to hold legal weddings and handfastings, and you can find out more on my dedicated wedding website www.GettingMarriedInScotland.org - I can hold your ceremony legally anywhere in Scotland, and I'm open to travelling throughout Scotland to conduct ceremonies.

Should you also need wedding planning and organisational help or photography and DVD I work alongside my partner fellow minister Will Russell.

I'm always happy to discuss ideas, with no obligation to take things further.

Another area I'm passionate about is helping people overcome their fear of death, and I work with a team of people - Jewels Hayden (soul midwife) and Will Russell (alternative Funeral Director), to support people to be less afraid - we can organise your will, living will and funeral wishes, so you can feel prepared and at peace.

In a nutshell, I offer traditional ministry, in an alternative way.
