“I take my place in the family of things, as a keeper of the flame for Love in all its forms.”
“I vow to live in love and trust, and know I am a child of god’
‘I promise to keep Honesty, Empathy, Love, Authenticity and Simplicity at the centre of all I do’.
“Touched by the core of who I am, I enable sacred connection, lighting the fire, enticing the genius.”
“My vow, Allah the beloved, is to consciously love life. My vow, Allah the compassionate, is to consciously honour life. My vow, Allah the merciful, is to gracefully embrace life.”
“….to live from love, within life.”
‘In the presence of Oneness, I will listen to the song, I will hear the people cry, I will sing of God’s love from the rooftops, and come home to source.’
I will remember who I am. I will remember who you are.
My vow is very succinct and is rooted in seeing the Divine in all, and in being of service where I might best serve.
“I accept, with gratitude and humility, my own unique gifts and talents and vow to dedicate them, with love, in service to all beings.”
“I align with the Highest form of Beauty, Truth, Harmony, Joy and Love, to be in service to the Highest good of all Beings”
The essence lives within the vibration of my name, ‘Shianna’: “bringer of Light, sower of seeds”, and manifests through the vibration of ‘Ravenlaw’: “shapeshifter, medicine woman”.
Seven years ago I “received” four short devotional sentences, which now underpin my spiritual practice.
“I vow to live my life listening to the Spirit, being transformed by the Presence and offering a ministry of love and service to all.”
the long vow continues to serve me, because it unintentionally syncs up perfectly with a body prayer that I love, so it’s a beautiful way to begin my daily practice.
“I let God lead me in all that I do”
My vow has shortened since ordination and it may shorten again as I move closer to its essence, which is, simply, to Love
My vow is a personal reminder inviting me to connect & surrender.
The mission and values of OneSpirit have resonated with me since I first became aware of the organisation.
To help water the seeds of compassion (healthy self-love) and connection with the Divine Mystery (within and all-around)
