Spiritual Counselling / Spiritual Accompaniment Special Interest Group

Spiritual Accompaniment is a gentle, grounded practice of being present with another person, listening deeply, holding space with care, and supporting the unfolding of their own inner wisdom.

This Special Interest Group offers OneSpirit ministers a supportive place to practise together, build confidence, and explore what Spiritual Counselling and Accompaniment can look like in real-life ministry.

Who Is This For?

This group is for OneSpirit ministers who:

• Are already offering Spiritual Counselling or Accompaniment and want steady peer practice

• Are preparing to offer it in the future and want confidence and support

• Wish to bring these skills into other areas of ministry

ROSIM membership is required.

What to Expect

• Monthly gatherings on Zoom

• Gentle facilitation focused on practice

• Occasional pairing for one-to-one practice between meetings

• A living, flexible structure shaped by the needs of the group

• Cost: No fee for participation at this stage

• Eligibility: ROSIM members only

• Accessibility: Closed captions available on Zoom. Please tell us any access needs in the form.

I joined OneSpirit because I was deeply drawn to the practice of Spiritual Counselling and Accompaniment and I’m delighted to invite you into a supportive space where we can practise, experiment, and grow together.

This new circle sits within ROSIM and is held with care, curiosity, and a practical focus. Less theory. More doing.

We will learn by trying things out, sharing reflections, and finding what feels true in our own ministries.

Spiritual Counselling has been a steady thread in my formation and ministry.

I am passionate about creating a grounded space where we can practise and learn together.
