I will never find the right words to thank you enough, But please know, I and all the family are forever grateful.

It was a lovely ceremony and it was so nice to share our love for Mum, although very hard.

My name is Peter, I am a funeral director in Bristol. Recently I was approached by a family to look after their mother’s funeral arrangements. They had a specific requirement when it came to a choice of celebrant. They wanted someone who could combine elements of Christianity and Islam which reflected the beliefs of them as a family and their departed mother.
I approached Reverend Sam to see if she could assist in delivering this unique and bespoke service. I am happy to say that she did. Sam delivered a truly heart warming and personal service which paid tribute to the lady who had passed and the family she had left behind.
The feedback I got from the family was glowing. Not only did Sam deliver on what was asked of her but she also went above and beyond the call of duty by checking in with the family in her own time and out of normal office hours. This meant the world to them and truly helped them through the grieving process.
I can’t thank Sam enough for doing that. For me as a funeral director it is very important that I put my families in the hands of good people who will look after them and care for them through that difficult time.
For anyone reading this who is looking for a celebrant to take their loved one’s funeral service then Reverend Sam is the lady for you.

Words are not enough to thank you for the love you showed me, my family and most importantly my mum , over the past 5 weeks.

Your smile yesterday during mum\’s celebration of life gave me the strength to say my words to mum and our friends and family who gathered. You made such a sad event, light, respectful and one where we could truly celebrate this wonderful woman. I do think humour is a true antidote to sadness.

For me the most poignant part was how you touched my mum\’s coffin as you sent her to our Maker.

My friends all commented what a beautiful service it was and key to this was that they felt it truly told the story of a remarkable woman who was touched and loved by everyone who knew her. Samantha – you enabled me and my siblings to do this. Peter finding you was the biggest blessing.

You truly are a wonderful human sent by the universe to heal.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You captured Dad’s spirit and being in such a short space of time. You made his send off so beautiful and personal. It has bought me and my family much peace and comfort. Your emails, texts, and phone calls have eased a lot of anxiety along the way, thank you. It has been lovely getting to know you on this journey, you are a wonderful lady. Eternal thanks and big hugs

I liked that you enquired as to our expectations and that you emphasized that all contributions were valid, with no right or wrong responses.

I also felt that you created an atmosphere of curiosity and that people felt secure enough to be authentic in their contributions to the conversation.

The group ( spiritual curiosity circle) and space felt warm and welcoming. There was kindness and respect for all our thoughts and wonderings. You were amazing, it felt just right. I will definitely try and make every Monday, just a shame there isn\’t more.
