OneSpirit Ambassador Programme

Welcome to the OneSpirit Ambassador Programme

The OneSpirit Ambassador Programme is a new, flexible way for recently ordained Aspen and Sylvan Path graduates to stay connected, contribute, and support the next wave of interfaith ministers. This pilot scheme invites you to shape your own unique role as an ambassador, in ways that reflect your life, your ministry, and your voice.

Ambassadors are more than representatives; they are active co-creators of OneSpirit’s mission, helping others discover the path of interfaith ministry through honest conversations, creative expression, and relational presence.

What Does It Mean to Be an Ambassador?

Being a OneSpirit Ambassador is an active role in promoting interfaith ministry and widening access to OneSpirit’s training.

You are:

  • A visible voice in the field
  • A real and relatable point of contact for prospective students
  • A creative contributor to the story of inclusive, spiritual leadership
  • A valued bridge between past and future ministers

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to be yourself.

Examples of What You Can Do

There’s no one way to be an ambassador. You can create your ambassador program to suits you. Here are some examples of how it could look:

  • Offer real talk to prospective students:

    • You might be happy to connect with potential students who want to speak to someone who’s been there. These chats happen outside of staff-led spaces like Intro Days or Sharing Circles, and are not monitored or filtered by staff or tutors. You’re simply offering a human-to-human conversation, where people can ask the things they might not feel comfortable asking in a group or official setting.

  • Represent OneSpirit:

    • Share flyers or speak about OneSpirit at festivals, ceremonies, or events you’re already part of.

  • Share your reflections:

    • Submit blogs, videos, reels, or voice notes that capture your post-ordination journey.

  • Use your creativity:

    • Share art, poetry, ritual, or other expressions that reflect OneSpirit’s values.

This is your space to shape.

  • A certificate of participation to add to your CV or LinkedIn
  • Optional profile space on our website to feature your story
  • A direct check-in relationship with Lavinia to support your role
  • An opportunity to help shape the future of this programme for years to come.

Who Can Join?

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a recent graduate of the Aspen or Sylvan Path
  • Be a current member of ROSIM
  • Have a willingness to offer your lived experience to others

This programme is in its early stages. That means your involvement doesn’t just fill a role; it shapes what the role becomes. Your feedback, your style, and your boundaries all matter. We are creating something that is community-rooted, non-performative, and grounded in relational trust. Check-ins will be based on the type of ambassadorship you design. Some might involve quarterly reflection, others just once a year.

You don’t need to have all the details figured out. Simply email Lavinia at lavinia@interfaithfoundation.org to express your interest, ask questions, or float an idea.

Let’s co-create this together. There is a place for your voice!

Meet the beautiful Lavinia – Lavinia is our Community Development Lead and serves as the vital bridge between OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation, the educational charity, and ROSIM, OneSpirit’s professional register of ministers. She’s your main point of contact for anything ROSIM-related.

With roots stretching from London to Jamaica to Liverpool, Lavinia has always been passionate about community building in its many forms. Her goal is to empower individuals to recognise and harness their influence within their communities.

Beyond OneSpirit, Lavinia works on local initiatives focused on social justice, area regeneration, and mental health. As a hypnotherapist and healing practitioner, she also supports people on their personal healing journeys.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Lavinia watching Star Trek, diving into sci-fi books, or being (regularly) defeated in rock-paper-scissors by her son.
