THE CHERRY TREE PATHWAY

STUDENTS & THEIR TESTIMONIALS

Many of our students begin this training with the hope of gaining new skills or pursuing a meaningful career path. What they discover is something far deeper. Alongside the tools and insights they develop, they find a community that supports, uplifts, and often continues to walk beside them long after the training ends.

Our students come with a wide range of life experiences, spiritual perspectives, and professional backgrounds. Whether you’re just beginning to explore spirituality, deepening a long-held practice, or bringing your existing work into a new light, your presence is valued here.

This training celebrates the richness each individual brings. Your story, your questions, and your aspirations matter, and they help shape the shared journey we’re on together.

PLURALISTIC

We are enriched by our pluralistic community, a tapestry of faiths, spiritualities, and philosophies. This variety of perspectives not only fosters deep learning but also nurtures mutual understanding and a shared commitment to coexistence.

AUTHENTIC

Our ministers and students are rooted in their truth, bringing their genuine selves to the OneSpirit community. This authenticity creates a foundation of trust and respect, encouraging everyone to honour their own unique path and voice while remaining open to others’ experiences.

COMPASSIONATE

Compassion is at the heart of everything we do. Our ministers and students embody empathy, offering support and understanding to one another and those they serve, guided by a spirit of kindness and care.

I’m based in Ireland. I love to be in ceremony, in nature, in stitches laughing… even all three at once if possible. I felt called to [the training]. I feel strongly that people from my intersecting communities deserve to feel welcome and connected and accompanied in exploring what faith can be for them.

I am autistic, trans, queer and highly creative, from an academic, scientifically-minded background, with my spiritual experiences woven through time spent in Buddhist, shamanic and mystical Christian traditions. The idea of Interfaith ministry really appealed to me as a way to help me figure out what an alternative ministry, that is open to learning and connecting with multiple faith paths and cultures, might look like.

Gina, Current Student

I am a curious open-minded seeker of what it is to be a human. It’s been an internal journey of self-inquiry to explore the many layers of complexities & parts to discover what is my ‘true authentic self’. With much of this curiosity surrounding that which cannot be seen, or fully explained.

Having undertaken a variety of spiritual training, together with a study of the psychological aspects of human development, I felt I wanted a platform from which they all could be somehow incorporated. On reading OneSpirit’s Core Beliefs this resonated with an opportunity for me to delve deeper into my questioning & bring all these fragmented strands of my learning into one cohesive whole.

Tony, Current Student

I am 59 years old and live on the Irish Coast. I have always enjoyed serving my community, and am involved in many volunteer roles. I have always tried to live a meaningful life filled with purpose and service. I keep myself very fit and play golf, squash, and run.

I enjoy connecting with other people, love playing music with friends and good food. [I have] a desire to serve my community in a deep and meaningful way.

Hara, Current Student

I am a shamanic sound healer, tutor for the College of Sound Healing and Transpersonal psychologist. I love to offer ceremonies for my community and run a weekly Sacred Healing Dance group. I feel more connection to Spirit, to the earth and our deepest soul selves is imperative to help our species protect the earth and to survive and thrive in the challenging times to come.

I decided to undertake this ministry training to widen my skills, expand my knowledge and experience and give me a better vehicle to serve the Divine and support people.

Claire, Current Student

I live in England with my dog Scooby where I work as a celebrant – mainly funerals – and I also have a holistic healing business offering Soul Plan readings, Soul Transformation Therapy, Reiki, and Qigong. I have one son and one grandson who I love spending as much time with as possible. I enjoy walking, reading, music and cricket!

I am a student of A Course in Miracles and part of Robert & Hollie Holden’s Everyday Miracles group. Hollie mentioned the course a year or so ago and I felt called to investigate further! After attending the online introductory meetings I decided it would not only benefit my work as a celebrant but also (and probably more importantly) my own ‘journey’.

Words from Our Students

If you’ve been reflecting on whether our training is the right fit for you but are feeling unsure, we invite you to spend a moment with the words of some of our students and ministers below. Their reflections offer insight into the personal and spiritual growth they’ve experienced through the training, each journey shaped by where they began and what they were seeking.

Every path through this work is unique. Some arrive with clear intention, others with quiet curiosity. Whether you’re hoping to deepen your spiritual practice, open a new chapter in your life, or follow a calling you can’t quite name, you’ll find a welcoming and nourishing space here.

If something in you is stirring, or if you simply have questions, please reach out. We’d love to connect and support you as you consider what’s next…

Go for it! The training is a complete inner and outer body exploration that makes you grow positively. The curriculum, I felt, was in perfect order of growth relating to all the faiths we travelled with and all the internal journeys of shadows, traumas and ceremonies where I grew from with the pace, space and order.

Samantha, 2024 Graduate

Stay with the course even when things are hard. Don’t give up. Stick with the daily practices, they are a saving grace. Keep coming back to yourself and find your own life philosophy. Also, don’t be afraid to remix teachings.

Rebecca, 2024 Graduate

Thank you again, I didn’t know my life and soul yearned for this process until I found it, and until I began I didn’t know how much my life and soul would be drinking from the bountiful cup that OneSpirit offers.

Annie, 2023 Graduate

I was drawn to the course due to my love of ceremony and diversity and my interest in counselling. My favourite thing has been the deep delving with my Peers and the relationships built with my study group. I have grown spiritually, healed hurts, and been supported to accept grief and loss of physical beings in my life.

Linden, 2023 Graduate

This course has revolutionised the way I think about people of different faiths and none. I’ve had to step inside different faiths rather than looking at them from the outside, it’s been a genuine encounter… To greet people where they are and have that personal encounter has really taught me that there is truth and value in all faiths and all approaches to spirituality. It’s been a wonderful journey and I feel like this is perhaps the first few steps of a much longer journey to come afterwards.

Jennifer, 2024 Graduate

It was wonderful to find myself among a group of gifted, committed seekers who had all signed up for this shared journey, while coming from different backgrounds with different stories, experiences and strengths. The way that different people’s individuality and perspectives emerged more into the community over the course of the programme continues to inspire me and we are staying in contact too which fills me with joy.

Melanie, 2022 Graduate

It’s a live course that meets you where you are at. It is profoundly life-changing and takes deep commitment. I have come into myself, profoundly. It’s let me give so much space to my own inner process that I feel I have much more room now to support others than when I joined. My path of service in the world has become clearer it is supporting my confidence to be seen in my gifts as an intuitive and sensitive earth-loving woman.

Susan, 2024 Graduate

OneSpirit training supports you to find the way back to yourself and to embrace both light and shadow. ‘No mud, no lotus’ is a phrase that comes to mind as the training is both challenging and joyful. The strong support network provided for the program helps to gently keep you on track when you may lose your way.

Georgina, 2024 Graduate

I would like to extend a very heartfelt thanks to you all. The two years has taken forever, and taken no time at all. It has had light and shadow, laughter and tears and it has been hugely rewarding. It has been a sacred space for exploration of the soul and spirit. I am glad to have been and be part of this. My spirit guides are smiling.

April, 2023 Graduate

I have been torn apart and put back together humbled and stronger.
