Grace Loveday

I believe that when we are held in a space of deep listening and genuine care, something shifts — we begin to find our way back to ourselves, and can live with greater awareness and intention. In addition, I hold a simple but deep conviction that the sacred is not far off or difficult to reach, but woven into the ordinary moments of each day.

These threads are at the heart of everything I offer — creating spaces where people can slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with what is truest in them. I think of this as a kind of homecoming — not to somewhere new, but to a place within ourselves that has always been there, waiting to be recognised.

My path to ministry has been shaped by more than thirty years of working closely with people in their most vulnerable moments — in cancer care, and as a somatic practitioner. I have come to trust that the body holds a wisdom the mind often ignores, and that when given the right conditions, it can be a profound source of insight and healing. This body-centred approach shapes how I live and work: with presence, attentiveness and listening for what is being held beneath the words.

Whether I am sitting with someone in grief, blessing a new life or a new union, or offering a quiet space to explore what you believe and why, the work is always rooted in the same ground — a reverence for the whole person, body and soul.

What I offer reflects this breadth: support at the end of life; somatic soul therapy — an ongoing, body-centred space to tend to whatever is present in your body and heart; and ceremonies crafted with care for life’s significant moments — weddings, baby blessings, funerals, and rites of passage. I also hold a fortnightly meditation group and offer retreats and workshops. Whatever is present for you — joy, grief, uncertainty, curiosity, or something you can’t yet name — I am here for that.
