Annie Blampied-Radojcin

Ordained in 2004, I have a wide range of experience to offer those wishing for a celebrant for a funeral, wedding or baby blessing.

In recent years I have worked as a hospice chaplain and in 2020 created a training course, called Quietude®, for those wishing to offer spiritual and emotional support in end of life care.  Part of the training is considering what happens after we die, and how we can offer support to those who have crossed the Threshold of death.  Please enquire about becoming a Quietude® Practitioner through www.emerson.org.uk/quietude

Testimonials

  1. “What I loved about the Quietude® Practitioner training course was the open heart space that encompassed the whole journey. Annie has a true gift for holding space, every little detail was filled with so much thought and love. All of our grief had space to exist in, and all of our loved ones we had lost were always welcome in our circle. It was a profound experience, feeling those who had departed being on the journey with us, reminding us that we are never alone. I loved the use of art to express ourselves, the morning singing, the eurythmy sessions, and how nature was woven into the course. The way that we learned to listen to each other, and respond from a place of love has lived inside of me since completing it. I feel more compassionate towards myself and all those around me. The written self reflections, biography work and sharing the groups end of course projects filled me with so much richness and inspiration. Thank you Annie and to all of the teachers, to our group, and to Emerson, for the most magical experience of quietude.”♥️

  2. “The Quietude course has had a huge and profound impact on me. It has enriched my life in ways I couldn’t possibly have imagined when I signed up.

Quietude has led me to my dream job working in hospice care. It has equipped me with skills that I will need to support those at the end of their lives and their families. It has also reminded me of the abilities we all have innately within us to support others… being compassionate, to truly listen, to witness and accompany others.

The drawing activities were some of my favourite tasks from the course. It was liberating and enlightening to be able to express deep aspects of myself in visual form.

Through Quietude and my time at Emerson, I found an enriching community of like minded souls. I made beautiful connections and friendships that blossomed during the course and have continued beyond.”
