Kim Atherton-Dow

Hello there,

I am a OneSpirit Minister and was ordained in 2019. I now live on the Isle of Skye with my wife Jean and our six dogs, nine cats and hens.

You can find out a lot more about who I am if you visit my website at: www.sacredpathsscotland.co.uk

or on my Facebook page at: fb.me/revkimathertondow.scot

I offer a variety of services including creating all kinds of ceremonies (including legal weddings in Scotland), spiritual counselling, workshops, Wild Church and chaplaincy. I try to incorporate my love for nature into all I do as I think we can all find spiritual connection in the wild.

As you may have guessed from my introductory sentences I am also passionate about animals and their welfare. I am a member of the Animal Interfaith Alliance and volunteer in pet loss support with Blue Cross. I am happy to offer blessings and ceremonies for all animals and their humans.

If you have any questions or queries please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Brightest blessings,

Kim

Testimonials

  1. Thank you so much for the amazing ceremony you developed for our wedding – it was perfect, leaky pen and all! We really appreciate how carefully you listened to us during the process of writing the ceremony. It was the heart of the day, and you took so much care to make sure everything felt genuine and personal to us – as well as getting the perfect balance of lightness and seriousness. So many of our guests commented on how touching they found the ceremony, and how brilliant you were.

  2. I’ve been joining Kim’s Wisewood Church online sessions and thoroughly enjoying them. Kim creates a wonderful atmosphere of loving acceptance & open non-judgemental communication. The information she’s given us on the four elements has been amazing and I’ve learned so many interesting things.

  3. In the Wisewood meetings, with Kim’s excellent leadership and a group of like-minded people who are welcome to contribute and participate, it has been so rewarding to look at such things as the elements and our place in nature – to reflect on what is around us that we take for granted – to examine and value what is so often overlooked – and it is our great good fortune to have Kim to help us achieve this awareness.
