‘Where would You have me go?
What would You have me do?
What would You have me say, and to whom?’
(A Course in Miracles)
Finding an answer to this question has been at the heart of my journey to becoming an ordained OneSpirit Interfaith minister in 2024 and remains an essential part of my daily spiritual practice and enquiry.
My ministry centres around accompanying and supporting those who are navigating periods of change, transition, and uncertainty. These are those liminal places where we’ve left the old, familiar, and safe, and have not yet arrived at the new. From my base in Glasgow, Scotland, I am available for in-person or virtual spiritual counselling and will offer you companionship on the journey with compassion and warmth, empathy and kindness.
I am an Interspiritual seeker, empath, intuitive and an old soul who has had a lifetime of preparation for my ministry through lifelong chronic illness, multiple disabilities, decades of being a carer, and complex trauma. Each of these parts of me has been an invaluable teacher and has helped me to be who I am today – paradoxically exquisitely sensitive and as strong as steel.
My artistic and creative experience has great depth. I am a poet and writer of spiritual non-fiction and have had a journaling practice since childhood. I have taught Piano, Speech and Drama, Music Theatre and co-edited a poetry journal. I have also led therapeutic writing workshops in mental health settings and done academic research in fairy tales, fantasy literature, and liminality.
Amongst my many passions and interests: the Enneagram, musicals, the Brontes, George MacDonald, children’s literature, mystical poetry, decluttering, trees and forests, the wind, and T’ai Chi.
If you are navigating a time of change and transition and would like a warm, loving companion by your side, I am available for spiritual accompaniment/counselling and individually-crafted ceremonies and will do my utmost to help you remember the truth of who you are, which is love. Your soul knows everything it needs, my job is simply to help you to remember…
‘… Remember
The truth that once was spoken
To love another person
Is to see the face of God.’
(from Les Misérables by Alain Boublil and Herbert Kretzmer)
