A Year of Becoming: Coaching for OneSpirit Ministers
The time after ordination is often described as a beginning. And it is. But it can also feel like a shift into something less clearly held.
Training offers rhythm, structure, and a shared experience. There is a sense of being accompanied. Then, almost overnight, that container changes. The questions become more personal, more practical, and often more immediate.
- What does my ministry look like in the real world?
- How do I begin?
- What decisions am I being asked to make now?
- How do I create something that is both meaningful and sustainable?
A Year of Becoming was created in response to this space.
This is not further training, and it is not supervision. It is a one to one coaching relationship, designed to support you as you begin to shape your ministry in practice.
At its heart, this is a space to think clearly, to reflect honestly, and to make grounded decisions about the direction of your work. It is a place where ideas can take form, where uncertainty can be met with steadiness, and where insight can begin to translate into action. Over the course of twelve months, you will meet monthly with Rev. Tania Menegatti. Together, you will explore what is emerging for you, both internally and in the world around you.
For some, this may be about navigating the transition out of training and finding a new rhythm. For others, it may be about becoming visible, shaping offerings, or working with questions around money and sustainability. For others still, it may be a time of reorientation, reflection, or returning to ministry after a period of change.
Wherever you are in your journey, this is a space that meets you there. Tania’s approach to coaching is grounded, practical, and deeply attentive. It is not about being given answers, but about creating the conditions where you can hear your own more clearly, and act on them with confidence. Alongside the monthly sessions, there is light support between meetings, offering continuity and a sense of ongoing connection as your thinking evolves.
This is a year of steady development rather than urgency. A year of allowing your ministry to take shape in a way that feels true, sustainable, and your own. By the end of the year, the hope is not that everything is fixed or finished, but that you feel more resourced, more confident in your direction, and more able to meet what comes next with clarity and trust in yourself.
