A Year of Becoming: Coaching for OneSpirit Ministers

Online Offering – Continuous Throughout 2026 | Post-ordination

Ordination is a sacred threshold, but what comes after it isn’t always so clearly marked.

As the structure of training falls away, you may find yourself holding something meaningful without quite knowing how it takes shape in everyday life. What does ministry actually look like now? What are you called to offer, and how do you sustain it, practically and realistically, in the years ahead?

A Year of Becoming is a one to one coaching programme built for exactly this stage. Across twelve months, you’ll work with Rev. Tania Menegatti in a space that meets you where you are, offering practical support, honest reflection, and gentle challenge as your ministry becomes something you can fully embody, not just an idea, but a lived, sustainable practice. Rooted in lived experience and relational depth, this programme offers steady, compassionate support through one of ministry’s most significant transitions.

Healing Meditation Circle

Free Online – Mondays | 7:30–8:30pm (BST)

The Healing Meditation Circle offers a gentle, inclusive space to pause, breathe, and rest in shared presence. Each session includes guided meditation and healing intention, creating space for reflection, connection, and quiet renewal. Whether you come seeking grounding, support, or a moment of stillness at the start of the week, you are warmly welcome.

This gathering has been held weekly for the past two years and is now opening out to the wider OneSpirit community, meaning all are welcome. It is led with love by Rev Gary Dean and Rev Sharon Rossi.

This is open to students, ministers, friends, and all who feel drawn to join, these weekly gatherings are held in a spirit of openness, care, and community.

First Fridays Student Circle

Free Online – Quarterly | 4 September, 4 December

There is something that happens in the middle of training that is difficult to name. You are learning, growing, being stretched. But sometimes what is needed is not more content, but more space.

The First Fridays Student Circle is a free, reflective gathering open to current students, those considering the training, and recent graduates. Each session is shaped around themes that feel present and alive within the community at that time, allowing the space to respond to what is actually unfolding. Whether you come to share, to listen, or simply to be present alongside others on a similar path, you are warmly welcome.

These gatherings are facilitated by Samantha Moyo, a OneSpirit Interfaith Minister. Samantha brings warmth and genuine care to this space, holding it as a place of connection, reflection, and shared ground. No preparation is needed. Come as you are.

Sacred Soul Circle

Free Online – New Moon: 8 Sept, Full Moon: 22 Sept | 7:30 to 8:30pm (BST)

Sacred Soul Circles offer a gentle, welcoming space to pause, breathe, pray, and be held in community. Gathering twice monthly in alignment with the rhythms of the New Moon and Full Moon, these circles invite you into reflection, stillness, and shared presence, guided by interspiritual wisdom and prayer. Whether you arrive feeling weary, inspired, or somewhere in between, all of you is welcome here. This is a space to reconnect with yourself, rest in spacious being, and draw nourishment from community in these fast-paced and often turbulent times.

Hosted online by Rev Eva Mary Spevack, Sacred Soul Circles weave together interfaith and interspiritual prayers, readings, meditation, and reflective offerings in a confidential and supportive setting. New Moon circles carry a quieter, more contemplative energy, with no expectation of participant sharing. Full Moon circles offer space for optional sharing of prayers, poems, readings, or blessings, always held gently and without pressure. These circles are free and open to all: OneSpirit Students, Ministers, and members of the wider community who feel called.

Monthly Online Peace Vigil & Meditation

Free Online – Monthly | Monday 31st August | 7 to 8pm (BST)

With so much happening in the world right now, it’s easy to feel the weight of it all. This monthly online vigil offers a space to gather together across distance, to find peace, connection, and hope. Open to everyone, of any faith, spiritual path, or none.

Together we bear witness to all that is unfolding in our world, holding it within a heart of peace. Our time moves through four practices: Head: witnessing the realities of our world; Heart: making space for grief and compassion; Hara: centring into stillness and offering prayers; Hands: committing to acts of loving kindness in daily life. Please bring a candle and a pebble or piece of wood.

These gatherings are hosted by Rev. Andrew Jones, a OneSpirit Interfaith Minister. Andrew holds a compassionate space to engage honestly with our world, stand in solidarity with those experiencing violence and injustice, and remember our shared humanity, the wellbeing of people, the more-than-human world, and the Earth itself.

Legal Wedding Workshop – Scotland 2026

In-Person Gathering – 3rd October 2026 | 11am-4pm (UK Time)

The Legal Wedding Workshop trains OneSpirit ministers seeking nomination to Scotland’s legal solemniser/officiant register, ensuring they can take on that role with confidence and full understanding of the legal obligations involved. The course runs in two parts: an online module, completed in your own time after ordination and before the in-person session, followed by a workshop led by local OneSpirit trainers already working in the field.

Ministers with temporary or three-year authorisation are required to complete regular, relevant CPD, and returning ministers are encouraged to attend again even if they’ve done the workshop before. It’s also a good opportunity to meet newer ministers, widen your network across the community, and support those just starting out. For authorised ministers who have already completed the CPD workshop, this session is free, though a donation towards venue costs is welcome.

Making Peace Matter: Peace Theory for Practitioners

Online Course – Six Gatherings | Saturdays, 7th November – 12th December 2026 | 3:00pm–4:30pm (UK Time)

The world has never been more in need of peace, yet many of us are left wondering how to translate our values, spiritual practice, and communication skills into meaningful change. This six-week online course offers an opportunity to explore peace not only as an inner experience, but as a practical and transformative force within communities, organisations, and society.

Together we will engage with academic peace theory through a spiritual lens, exploring what it means to become a bringer and builder of peace in today’s world. Through presentations, discussion, reflection, journaling, and creative expression, we will examine themes including the nature of peace and violence, conflict transformation, conscious communication, peacebuilding, and our responsibilities within the wider social fabric. The course unfolds through six themes: Motivations for Peace, Understanding Peace, Dynamics of Peace, Responsibility for Peace, Building Peace, and Maintaining Peace.

This course is open to anyone within the OneSpirit minister community who feels called to deepen their peace practice and leadership. Whether you are already engaged in peace work or are discovering the peacebuilder within yourself, you are warmly welcome to join us.

Being White: Working with Internalised Racism

Being White: Working with Internalised Racism was a OneSpirit programme for white ministers ready to explore how we carry unseen patterns of bias and internalised racism. Taking its lead from Layla Saad’s reminder that “this work is not about those white people ‘out there’… It is about you. Just you,” the programme created a supportive space for honest reflection, embodied practice, and shared accountability, so that ministry could grow into greater integrity and service to the wholeness of life.

Running fortnightly across 32 weeks, this closed and committed group of 4 to 16 participants moved through a structured journey of 16 sessions. A dedicated forum, resource library, and the possibility of ongoing peer groups offered support beyond the programme itself. Lovingly led by Sarah MacDonald, OneSpirit tutor and minister, the group was held with both challenge and compassion, drawing on her deep experience guiding ministers through reflective and embodied practices. Open to all OneSpirit ministers who identify as white, participants were invited to bring their honesty, their courage, and their willingness to step into tender, stretching, and transformative work, knowing it was never work to do alone.

Death and Grief Support Group

Death and Grief Support Group offered a compassionate online circle for those working closely with death, dying, or grief. Meeting fortnightly from 2 February to 16 March 2026, this small, closed group created a confidential and tender space to explore what arose in this sacred work.

Each gathering included shared reflection, spiritual practice, and time for individual or group supervision. It was not a space for instruction, but for deep listening. Together, participants were supported to find clarity, reconnect with their grounding, and return to the compassion at the heart of their ministry.

Lovingly held by Rev. Nickie Aven, an experienced supervisor and minister with more than 25 years in the field of dying and grieving, the group was open to all OneSpirit students and ministers. Participants were invited to bring their tea, their openness, and their tenderness as they gathered in community.

Funerals 101: The Complete Practical Guide

Funerals 101: The Complete Practical Guide for Ministers was an online workshop offering practical and grounded guidance for funeral ministry. Held across two November sessions, it focused on equipping ministers with the skills and confidence to serve with compassion and professionalism.

Facilitated by Reverend Lizzie Ward, an experienced celebrant and minister, the workshop covered essential elements from family meetings and service planning to crematorium and green burial ceremonies, along with grief support.

Open to OneSpirit students, ministers, and ROSIM members, it provided a supportive learning space for those called to accompany others at the threshold of loss.

Coming Home to Love

Coming Home To Love: A OneSpirit Summit in Response to Grief and Challenging Times was a one-day online gathering held in response to collective grief. Taking place on 21 September, the free summit created space for reflection, remembrance, and renewal within the OneSpirit community.

Structured around Past, Present, and Future, the day honoured Nicola’s legacy, offered practical support for ministry, and explored how OneSpirit could continue to meet the world with compassion.

Open to the wider community, the gathering welcomed all who wished to attend, with recordings and a remembrance video shared with those who registered.

OneSpirit Prayer Circle

OneSpirit Prayer Circle was a monthly online gathering offering interspiritual prayer, reflection, and expressive writing. Held by Reverend Eva Mary Spevack, the circle created a confidential and welcoming space to rest, reflect, and draw from the wisdom of diverse faith traditions, with themes shaped by the changing seasons.

In response to the pace and pressures of modern life, the circle offered time to pause, breathe, and reconnect through prayer and meditation. Participants were invited to step out of doing and into being, held within a gentle and supportive community.

Open to ministers, students, and the wider OneSpirit community, the gathering was free to attend and welcomed all who wished to join.

Sacred Activism: Living Non-Violence

Sacred Activism: Living Non-Violence offered an opportunity to embrace non-violence as both a spiritual path and a powerful contemporary movement.

This comprehensive course provided valuable tools, including meditation, collaborative sharing, and profound insights, helping participants unlock their inner strength without resorting to aggression.

Designed to deepen understanding of non-violence, the course equipped participants with practical and transformative practices for living with compassion and peace. Open to all, it invited exploration of how sacred activism could shape both personal life and the world around us.

The Sacred Work of Facing & Addressing Racism

The Sacred Work of Facing & Addressing Racism invited participants to explore the complex dynamics of racism with respect, compassion, and understanding. This enlightening course provided a safe and transformative space to confront and engage with these vital issues.

In its sixth workshop, the content had been carefully refined, incorporating insights and wisdom from dedicated Black professionals. Participants were supported to deepen their awareness, challenge assumptions, and contribute to meaningful change.

Open to all, the course welcomed those willing to engage in this important work. Together, participants committed to making a difference.

Spiritual Practice Circle

Spiritual Practice Circle offered a space rooted in shared practice and community. Created to support OneSpirit Ministers in their commitment to ongoing spiritual growth, it also welcomed those in the wider community who sought to deepen their practice.

The Circle provided a structured and supportive environment where participants connected with like-minded individuals, reflected on their journey, and remained engaged with their spiritual path. Through shared practice and gentle reflection, it nurtured growth in a warm and inclusive setting.

Open to ministers and seekers alike, the Circle brought people together in a spirit of collective learning and care. Participants were supported as they continued to deepen and sustain their spiritual practice within community.

Story, Self, and Spirit

Story, Self, and Spirit invited participants to explore the transformative power of storytelling. This creative and introspective course encouraged self-awareness and empowered individuals to reshape their life’s narrative.

Guided by Tim Ralphs, an experienced OneSpirit Minister, participants drew wisdom from global myths and folktales to illuminate their own journeys. It offered a unique opportunity to engage with personal story and deepen connection to the stories of others.

Whether seasoned storytellers or those newly discovering their voice, the course was open to all who wished to weave their own narrative. Together, participants stepped into an enriching and reflective journey.

Life Beyond Death

Life Beyond Death Workshop was an in-person retreat exploring death as transition rather than ending. Held in London in October 2023, the day created a safe and sacred space to reflect on life, death, and the continuity that connects them.

Facilitated by OneSpirit Minister Martin Nathanael, who brought over 40 years of experience in meditation and inner transformation, the workshop drew on spiritual traditions and near-death studies to reframe understanding. Meditation supported participants to connect more deeply with existence and shared belonging.

Open to all, the workshop offered an intimate space for personal reflection. Participants left with insights that were uniquely their own, whether a softened fear of death, a renewed presence in life, or a deeper sense of their inner nature.
