Passport Name Changing

As a OneSpirit Minister, if requested to, you can fill in and sign the form (PD2) for your bride-to-be to change her surname to her married name in advance of a foreign trip – some brides-to-be do this in readiness for their honeymoon.

HOWEVER some honeymoon destination countries won’t accept the bride’s passport in her married name and process a visa until she is actually married so it’s important that the couple are aware of this and check the requirements – they may decide to leave her change of name until afterwards.
